BREAKING: ARIMANWA WINS FOSHA-UK GRAND PATRON AWARD
The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Engr. Dr. Michael Arimanwa FNSE, JP, has continued in his winning streak as he was last Tuesday decorated with the Grand Patron Fellowship Award by the Occupational Safety and Health Association of the United Kingdom, Nigeria Region. The historic event took place at the 1000-capacity auditorium of the Polytechnic.
Conferring the award on the Rector, the President of OSHA-UK in Nigeria, HRH Dr. Olusegun Aderemi represented by Dr. Chris Osazuwa, congratulated the Rector for breaking history in being the first Polytechnic Rector in Southeast to attract an HSE Training Center to his institution. He also commended the Rector for all the support he has given to the Association in terms of human and material resources.
The HSE Certificate gives its holders an edge in getting absorbed in industries and corporate organizations. Registration for the programme is already in progress at the frontline polytechnic.
The Rector’s investiture makes him the first Grand Patron of the Association in the Southeast, earning him a place among the very few eminent Nigerians that have been so accorded the honor.
The Rector’s stellar leadership style has continued to fetch him a flurry of awards and fellowships from reputable local and international organizations.
Only last week, the Rector was also awarded a Fellowship by the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria.
